Aufbauwerk was in Zaragoza, Spain, for the closing event of the RATIO project. Together with the lead partner from the Spanish city and partners from Latvia, the Czech Republic, Poland, Portugal and Italy, the project results of the last two years were presented and discussed.

In the morning, company representatives from the Aragon region were guests and introduced innovations from their rural areas with a focus on telemedicine. This gave the project partners the opportunity to get to know the specifics of the region better. In the afternoon, they then explored the city of Zaragoza and tested local food and drinks.

Since 2016, the RATIO project has supported cluster collaborations internationally by sharing experiences and feeding lessons learned into regional programs. The project was extended with a new focus until the end of 2022 in the Corona crisis to specifically address the challenge of rural, small and medium-sized enterprises in the crisis.
